When Kacchan lost his quirk, Izuku felt numb. His ears constantly strained, yearning to hear the familiar rumble and boom of explosions that didn't exist anymore.
It only made sense that Izuku firmly insert himself into Kacchan's life from that moment onward.
If he had been a disciple to Katsuki's gospel before, then he had now become devout—rising from his knees to instead wield a sword and protect his fallen god.
The universe is heliocentric; Katsuki is the sun. People just seemed to forget, is all.
