Summary
Lucius has mixed feelings, he’s worried for Izzy but proud of Pete. His heart beats fast with every almost-missed step from Izzy. He shivers even with the summer sun hitting on him. A faint line of sweat sits on his skin. He can’t tear his eyes off of Izzy. Can’t move except to lick his lips.
Izzy’s fighting back, but his foot sometimes lands wrong and his ankle and knee keep trying to buckle. Lucius narrows in on the grimace on his face.
Lucius knows that face and saw it when Izzy’s foot was still healing. The way he kept walking on it, bearing his teeth hard until the muscles in his face were popping out.
Everything starts to piece together in Lucius’ mind. The way he was acting earlier, the haunted look, and now that he looks to be in pain. But there is nothing Lucius can do right now. All he can do is watch.

What was supposed to be a normal day on the Revenge turns into a really close call. The day starts badly for Izzy and Lucius can’t do much until it’s almost too late. Luckily for both of them, Pete comes and saves the day.

Izzy Hands finds love in the most unexpected place, a storage room. It came suddenly as if it were fate. And in a way it was. Everything that happened until their meeting had been planned. All the way down to James’ kindness towards others in comparison to Izzy’s unbridled anger. But their intertwined story has a time limit. For this love story is being pulled by an entity that no one sees, not until it’s too late. Tragedy must strike, for the love story between Izzy Hands and James Lee is what sets in motion the rest of history as it’s supposed to.
