Every Christmas that approached felt like a new form of torture for Ezreal. Thanks to his second biggest hit unironically called “You’re My Christmas” becoming so popular, December meant hearing that damn song everywhere, every day, at every single hour. Somewhere along the way, Christmas stopped meaning anything to him at all.

When Ezreal finally leaves Britain at the ripe age of twenty-seven to move to New York City, he doesn't expect his first week to be riddled in rain and with zero inspiration towards his next art piece for the upcoming New York art gallery. For the "City that Never Sleeps", Ezreal hasn't found what he's looking for amongst the crowd of wandering faces. But inspiration finally strikes when he sees a lonely man sitting outside in the rain on the dilapidated wooden bench nearby his apartment.

Summary
Iso thought that this mission would be no challenge. He trusted his teammate's abilities and had been proven over and over again how capable they were and of course he trusted his own strengths and the powers the First Light had granted him.
He was aware of what he was capable of and knew the consequences of using his ultimate ability to take out one of the final enemies. He would be alright after all, he knew how to deal with the side effects that came with using his powers and gaining an enormous advantage over his enemies in the dimension he created by having his senses go into overdrive. His vision, his hearing, the way he felt things in the dimension he created — he was a god in his own arena.
And back to earth again? He knew how to deal with losing that advantage and dealing with the temporary side effects of losing his vision and hearing.
Nothing could've prepared him for an accident due to which it wasn't him suffering those side effects — but Gekko.
Being the one who is most familiar with those side effects and how to deal with them he helps Gekko trough the day. While doing so he gets to know him better and maybe learns a few things about himself along the way.Series

“Get the fuck out there,” Xue Meng says as encouraging as he can, shoving Mo Ran forward. Even as Mo Ran walks to the center of the ring, Chu Wanning’s gaze weighs heavy on him. It’s not as ephemeral as it normally is, either.
A low fire begins to stir in Mo Ran’s belly. The crowd turns into a blur, the noise fading to the background as he’s blanketed by Chu Wanning’s presence. It’s a white light in this dark, dingy hellhole and Mo Ran hones in on it like a moth. It’s only when the bell rings that Mo Ran snaps back to reality and comes face to face with his opponent. Even then, he’s filled with one singular thought.
