Summary
The sun was shining like fluorescent lights in a school, baking the inpherno. Coil was walking around crossroads, sweating a bucket a minute, until he came across Slingshot's cafe. He set a single foot inside and was yelled at to get the fuck out of the cafe. But lucky for Coil, he was allowed it sit by the cashier so Vinestaff could watch over him.
Rocket and some other inphernal walked in, but all that Coil knew was that was the prettiest guy he has seen in 21 years of his life. That was probably the only time Coil was nervous to exchange numbers with someone. BUT the inphernal did not know what a phone was...? what the hell?

Summary
"Yeah, my car broke down while I was trying to...head somewhere. I tried calling Scythe for help and she's on her way." The medic informed, shrugging at the thought. He knew Scythe was going to take her sweet, slow time approaching his location, so he might as well pass time with the other.
"What about you? I thought you were gonna be hanging out with Rocket, after all-" The medic started, but was quickly cut off by the eager demon.
"Nope! He said he was busy! So I decided to spend time with you!" The swordsman chirped, a warm smile on his face that made the medic's heart flutter, but it was quickly overrun by a feeling of worry.
"Rocket? But he was just here, looking for you." The medic said, suspicion evident in his singular eye, fully turning to face the other.

Summary
Love didn’t turn them into a bumbling fool, or a romantic waxing poems, or a whirlwind of clingy affection. It was something that settled in the base of their skull, something that curled around every column of bone in their spine, and buzzed comfortably in their ribs, next to their heart, where all the other aspects of home lay.
“Somethin’ catch yer eye, sugar?” Her eyes sparkle with familiar amusement, fang glinting in the sunlight as it paints the dunes behind her in seas of gold.
Hook grins. They feel their eyes soften despite themself—they always were a sucker when it came to her, something caught in her orbit, a puff of air in the whirlwind of motion and initiative and life that is Scythe. They shrug. “Maybe.”
