“Hi baby!” Scar greets happily when he spots him, jumping down from the top of his train and fumbling with his elytra to activate it in time. “I thought you were building today?”
“Hey,” Grian greets quietly. “Couldn’t focus,” he mumbles, almost bashful. Scar raises an eyebrow at him.
“Is my baby wanting some quality time with Daddy?” he asks, reading Grian like an open book.
Grian nods, looking away. He feels shy and squirmy all of a sudden, hand coming up to his mouth, thumb ready to get sucked on. Scar bats it away before he can get a chance to, shoving a pacifier in his mouth instead. Grian doesn’t know where he got that, but at the moment he can only be grateful.
“Awww,” Scar coos. “C’mon princess, let’s get you into something more age appropriate, hm?”
