Summary
As usual, Merlin has utterly failed in keeping a low profile by inadvertently getting himself dragged into a mess of a situation that appears to have something to do with a seemingly unkillable snake man, a toad woman, an order of phoenixes, and a boy named Harry Potter who, he quickly finds, is equally bemused by his current predicament. When he discovers how lost the boy is, he resolves to help him and his friends get rid of this dark lord--as well as their malignant (and worse, ineffectual) new teacher.

“I’m not-” Aelwyn protested but stopped herself mid word and pinched the bridge of her nose, “I don’t mean to alarm you, little sister, but I think you may be suffering from some severe memory loss.”
Adaine was about to snap back at her but froze as the words sunk in. Memory loss. Yes. That would certainly explain why she was in a different outfit then she remembered.

"I want to believe you. I'm desperate to believe. So I'm... I'm going to. I'm going to choose to believe all of this, Aelwyn. That I'm the Oracle, that our parents are as good as dead, that we're happy. " She pulled back now and Aelwyn could see the tears flowing freely down her face and the shaky hope in her eyes. "I'm going to believe that I forgive you. And I'm going to trust, if not you, then myself in making that decision. I... um..." Adaine swallowed nervously and glanced away, flushing slightly. "I'm still kinda, um, freaked out about all this. And I can't promise I won't be jumpy or I'll act like this older version of me but I... I l-love you, Aelwyn."
