Summary
“I’m serious.”
Robby sighs, blinking away from the screen to look down at Dennis. He’s wearing his glasses, and the way he looks down at Dennis through them always sends a zip of attraction down his spine. “Serious about what?”
Dennis sighs himself, pushing up onto his elbows so he feels a little closer to Robby’s level. “She’s threatening to physically drag me to a bar and not let me come home until I kiss a man.”Robby fixes his glasses, turning back to his laptop. “Why don’t you?”
Dennis blinks. “What?”
The other man shrugs, suddenly typing away like he actually gives a shit about anything Gloria says to him. “You’re a young man. Why not go have some fun?”-

Summary
“You’re lying.” Whittaker whines.
“I’m not! I’m not! Just..” Robby smiles, flicking his cigarette. Whittaker hums, a sort of ‘go on.’
“He reminds me of you, when you first started.” He says, carefully neutral. And Whittaker almost gets defensive before he realizes Robby isn’t entirely wrong. Robby smiles, nudging him with his knee.
Whittaker blinks at him a few times. And then, then he says something that neither of them had expected in the slightest.
“Does that make him your new favorite?” He asks, quietly. And it startles Robby. They stare at each other for a moment. Whittaker looks nervous, like he regrets even speaking. And Robby, he doesn’t quite know how to respond.
Slowly, Robby takes the last drag off his cigarette. Huffing as he presses the ember against the wood on the bench between them. He flicks his head and hums. Whittaker watches him quietly.
“You really have matured.” Robby snorts, and Whittaker frowns, crossing his arms and leaning forward to catch Robby’s downturned gaze. Before he can throw a fit, Robby speaks.

Summary
The storm had lasted 5 nights. Violent winds, colossal waves. Robby has been wandering the shore each time the wind dipped, checking for wrecks, for any poor lost soul who’d been unlucky enough to be swept off in the raging tides.
On the morning of the sixth day, a sliver of sun peeks out through the dissipating clouds. It’s calm for now. He hears the wind still in the distance, but for now at least he’s sheltered in the pebbled cove.
That’s where he spots him.
A mer washed up to shore. Beautiful dark blonde curls spilling around his pretty face.
