Summary
“Eddie,” Maddie says. “I know our kids are different ages, and our situations are different, but — it kind of sounds like you need something else besides your kid and work, too.”
Well, I used to have a best friend, Eddie thinks, then pushes the thought away. “I … I have other things. But Chris and the job are definitely the most central right now.”
"You know, you can’t put yourself last all the time, Eddie.” She laughs a little. “Straight from my therapist’s mouth to your ears! Ooh — you know what? I’ve got a great idea.”
“Oh?”
“You should come to book club. It’s something I do with my parent friends. We take turns hosting, and it’s my turn!”
Sometimes the best part about reading is getting to learn more about yourself.

Summary
“Am I really so awful to you?” Buck hates how fragile his voice comes out. This wasn't supposed to happen. He wasn't supposed to fall apart today, but here he is. The grand court jester, riding his unicycle on the tight rope of death and hoping it doesn't hurt too bad when it kills him.
Eddie turns to him, his eyes a storm that Buck can't look away from if he tried, “Awful? Buck you would ruin me–”
The bells ring, effectively cutting Eddie off from whatever scathing remark he had planned to sear into Buck's soul like a hot brand.

Summary
“You’re Buck’s Babbles, right? That’s your podcast?” Eddie asks. Buck uncrosses his arms as his eyes widen and he steps closer to Eddie. He looks a little stunned.
“Uh - y-yeah. It is. How - how do you know that? I don’t have any of my social media linked to it,” Buck stutters, stepping closer again. Eddie is peripherally aware of the others staring at them but he can’t break himself out of the bubble they’ve found themselves in. The reason Eddie is standing where he is right now is standing right in front of him. Buck is standing right in front of him.or
The one where Buck had a podcast and helps Eddie before they meet (and Eddie is totally smitten).
