He watched Alastor’s whole face turn deadly yet maintain that smile. He held the plate in two hands as he took a step back. “That won’t be necessary,” he replied with a tight tone. “This won’t cost you a penny, because you can leave.”
It took about thirty seconds for Lucifer to realize he was getting kicked out. His smile dropped and he quirked an eyebrow. “I’m sorry, what?”
He couldn’t name a single time anyone has ever kicked him out of anywhere.
Alastor freed one hand to point towards the entrance. “If my mother’s recipes are unsatisfactory to your white boy tastebuds, you can leave.”
Lucifer was taken back, his jaw barely stayed hinged on his face, if only keeping it in place to keep his composure. “For not liking the taste of straight cayenne pepper? Alastor, that dish is inedible. I was trying to be nice about it, but the only flavor I taste is straight pepper and nothing else.”
Alastor scoffed and Lucifer was starting to get mad. “Oh please, save it for the burger place down the street. I’m sure that place will be much more to your taste, bland and greasy.”
Lucifer’s brow twitched. “Is that how you talk to your customers?” He hissed quietly. -
