Summary
Pete glances at the book and rolls his eyes a bit. “Babe, can't you see that I'm sick?”
“That's why I'm here, dummy.”
“That doesn't look like a storybook, is all. And Captain Stede's other books are suuuuper dull.”
Lucius fixes him with a glare. “This is a special book. It was one that my mother used to read to me when I was sick. And today, I'm gonna read it to you.”
Pete grimaces. “Has it got any killing in it?”
Lucius, determined to sell it, animatedly replies: “Are you kidding? This book has everything. Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Revenge. Giants. Monsters. Chases. Escapes.” His eyes soften. “True love. Miracles”
Pete props himself up a bit higher on his pillows. “Doesn't sound too bad, I guess. I'll try and stay awake.”
Or: Lucius reads his sick boyfriend a story with some VERY familiar characters.
It's Princess Bride, y'all. Starring the crew.

Summary
The thing about having your heart broken – or, not so much broken as brutally crushed – is that it feels like drowning. Not a sudden sort of drowning, like being plunged into the deep water all at once, though. More of a slow tide of disbelieving horror rolling in, trying to deny that it's happening, but still eventually finding yourself rooted to the spot as the waters rise above your head.
Or: Ed deals with the repercussions of having his heart broken, through to a happy resolution. Written as sort of a stream-of-ADHD-consciousness by an ADHD author.

Summary
In retrospect, John supposed that it hadn't been the wisest move to cut out early from his date on the 13th of February. To be fair, it hadn't been one of Sherlock's fake emergencies. No, instead it had been a rapid stream of unanswered phone calls from Mrs. Hudson, culminating in an almost indecipherably frantic voicemail, the only distinguishable words of which were "Sherlock," "fire," and (puzzlingly) "bring home some bicarbonate of soda."

Summary
With the media on his heels, Sherlock is coerced into taking a break from London to get clinical proof that he is neither mentally unsound nor a menace to society. Predictably, John gets dragged along despite his protestations and not insignificant issues with Sherlock's recent return. Also predictably, an unusual murder gets dropped in their laps. As if things weren't already complicated enough.
This has turned into kind of an abandoned fic... dunno if we'll get back to it

Summary
Stede sits down to read his nightly bedtime story to the crew of the Revenge, only to discover that Lucius has saddled him with a particularly trashy novel in which a gentleman and a pirate begin a hot and heavy romance. Ed has been on board for several weeks, and everyone is sick of the slow burn and apparently ready to shove them down the path to a real romance by whatever means they can.
As Stede reads (and tries to work out who the author of the story might be), they'll bicker their way through romance tropes, story structures, and what it means to have a happy ending. And if by the end of this night Edward Teach isn't in Stede Bonnet's bed, Lucius will probably have to eat his match-making hat...
A hilariously silly meta love letter to Our Flag Means Death and the fanfic writing and reading community ❤️

Summary
The recovery of Edward Teach, briefly the Kraken, always the love of Stede Bonnet's life; and how he finds every fine thing in the world can be his after all.
“It’s just six weeks after they’ve left Bonnet’s little rags-and-sparkles crew behind to build one the Kraken could command, and he’s spent not one day of it sober. He’s doing the ‘untouchable legendary terror’ thing. He’s doing it no holds barred. No more dawdling around deck singing songs and telling stories; he’s made it known they’re out for blood. If he’d picked the people he thought he had, they should be drooling for it. But the crew has been giving him looks. Fang in particular—he could swear Fang almost seems sorry for him.”

Summary
Ed meets Stede on a beach in Barbados a month before the Revenge is finished. Ed decides that kidnapping a wealthy (handsome) man might break the monotony of being Blackbeard. Stede is a little too on board with being kidnapped.
Basically, an alternate meeting slow-burn AU, with lots of humor, hijinks, and building sexual and romantic tension.
