Summary
Moonlight streamed into the room, lighting up the small workshop. Reki liked to say it was because he liked the natural light; but the real reason was that curtains were way more expensive than the large family could afford. The light shone onto the butterfly, making the sparkly blue of the wings shimmer.
The girl gasped in awe and the brother’s smile widened. Grinning, he clutched a small remote control and met her eye with a familiar glimmer of mischief.
“Wanna see it fly?”

Langa had never envisioned himself as rich.

Well… maybe.He’d never thought of Reki as poor either. He’d always imagined them as on a similar economic level.

Summary
"Hey, Rin-chan! Already making enemies?" Bachira appears in front of him with his easy-going smile. He is radiating sunshine, unlike Rin, his default mode to others is being nice unless treated otherwise, then he turns into a monster. If he knew some boys were shit talking Rin, he would probably threaten them himself.
"Meguru." Rin gives him a nod of acknowledgment and then lightly shrugs. There is no point in mentioning it, they are nothing Rin can't handle himself. "They are not good enough to be considered enemies, just obstacles."
"Of course you'd say that." Bachira laughs wholeheartedly, and Rin won't admit even if he was being held at gun point that maybe he missed hearing that cheerful voice.
Perhaps Bachira's laugh makes him feel a little warm on the inside. And there aren't many things that get through Rin's carefully crafted icy exterior these days. But Bachira has a special pass.
It's hard to explain exactly what Bachira Meguru is to him. A friend? He's probably the closest thing Rin ever had to a friend. So yea, that must be it. But at the same time, it's much more than that.
