"I'll buy you a new one," was his immediate reply.
"Correction. We'll buy a new one. I know you're Mr. Moneybags over there, but we're roommates now. I won't have you footing the bill for everything just because we both know you can."
You caught the tiniest glimpse of his disbelieving smile before he hid it behind his hand. "Mr. Moneybags?"
"Am I wrong? I half expect you to sleep with a pillowcase stuffed with hundred dollar bills."
"Sounds unsanitary."
