Summary
Ordinarily, selling off the treasured possessions of one’s family is frowned upon. Especially if said family have yet to actually die. Ingo sold his brother’s soul to a Chandelure when he was ten years old, though, and it has yet to be a point of contention. Maybe because he threw his own into the bargain, too.
But a lack of argument doesn't necessarily mean a lack of consequences—which he discovers rather quickly in Hisui, having forgotten the terms of the deal he made in the first place.
