Because whenever he was sick, ink would sink deep into his skin, forming words and names that he's been called throughout his life.

Summary
Lloyd has been having this reoccurring dream ever since he became the Conduit. He wakes up in this field of gray, a vast expanse of nothing that goes on forever, the void cracks under his feet, and then, in some way or another, he dies.
In the waking world, he can feel the seems of himself falling apart, and soon, the world starts to fall apart with him.He'll have to relearn how to lean on his team if he wants to figure out what's going on, otherwise he genuinely fears he might lose himself to the chaos he's been finding in his own mind. Is it the power of the Source Dragons tearing him apart from the inside? Or it something deeper, something he has to face within himself?

Summary
No matter what the ninja told him at the Tournament of the Sources, he didn’t believe their manipulation tactics. He was not a ninja; he never was and will never join their team. But suddenly, during the battle with Thunderfang, he is sent into a coma and wakes up unaware of everything that happened after the Merge, and somehow all his memories from before flood back. Now, he is unaware that his goodness is shattered, unaware of every horrible thing he did. The ninja have to decide what to do when it is unclear whether Jay is back to normal, or still this "Rogue" they've known. Can they outrun what Jay became? Will the ninja tell him the truth, or pretend that everything is normal? And if the truth slips out, will it drive them apart?
Or maybe, the ninja just have to learn to accept him for who he is.
