Summary
The Eva in the mirror, she holds the magazine in her hand wide open but stares, so focused on him looking presentable. In the corner of his eye, he can sense how the glare bores down at him as he wrestles with the tie. With her, it's fifty/fifty if the glare is adoration or a signal for him to hurry up, and he's not sure what makes him more flustered. His fingers lose dexterity with the tie, and he feels the tips of his ears burn when she makes a choking laugh.
"You know, it's impolite to stare," he sputters out as he fumbles with his full winsdor knot. Not that he doesn't enjoy it, he just has other things in mind. Such as how screwed he's going to be if he does not hightail himself out of the house in the next forty minutes (oh Christ, does he hope he has forty minutes).
"I wasn't trying to," she shrugs, flips the page. "Just gauging how much help you might need."
or: Wolfgang wakes up late. Eva helps him get ready.
