Zuko had spent far too much of his summer dealing with an ever increasing worry about a new roommate.
Suki had warned him early enough at least, and had even gone out of her way to set him up with someone to sublet her room while she was gone for the year studying abroad, but it did nothing to quell the constant concern.
Dragons are not known for their ability to adjust easily.
Or: Dragon Zuko gets a new roommate, and totally definitely does not develop a big fat crush on him.

Summary
They gravitated towards Zuko whenever the temperature dipped even slightly. At night, he often woke to someone pulling their bedroll towards him, or slipping under his arm, or turning over in their sleep and colliding with his shoulder.
It alarmed him, at first. It had never been a good thing when someone woke him in the dead of the night.
It was strange, then, that he was on the run without Uncle, officially a traitor to his homeland, and for the first time since his mother left, he woke in the night sandwiched between bodies, feeling safe.

Summary
This was inspired by a post MuffinLance made about Hakoda trying to give Zuko the talk. After the last couple of chapters of Salvage, I realized Katara and Sokka also needed to be included.
This story takes place in the universe of Salvage, and all credit for that AU goes to MuffinLance. Also, you definitely need to read that fic to understand this one.

It didn’t take him long to start questioning just what it was that caused the prince night terrors, though. He didn’t speak often while it was happening; sometimes he grunted, like he was in pain, but that was about it.
