Summary
After witnessing his brother being abducted by monsters on a flying ship, Kim Jongin, a gentle, soft-spoken calligrapher and translator, decides to leave their village in the mountains to rescue him. But, being as clueless as determined, Jongin quickly ends up a prisoner on a demon's ship. When he thinks that all hope is lost, the most unlikely saviors come to his rescue and Jongin finds himself joining the pirate crew led by the infamous 'Imoogi Captain'.
The tales depict Captain Lee Taemin as a heartless, cursed snake demon, sailing with a crew of wicked pirates on his ghost ship, the Leviathan. But all Jongin can see is a mischievous and mesmerizing man that seems quite disposed to help him out as long as he gets paid.
