When Eijirou's ship is claimed by the sea during a nasty storm, he's blown overboard and knocked unconscious, falling to the depths of the deep blue. He should have been dead, drowned and lost to the sea to be ferried away to the next life. Instead, he wakes up in an underwater cavern, rescued by a mysterious ship captain that offers him a choice: 1) join his crew and help shepherd lost souls, or 2) be killed by the captain's hands and move onto the afterlife. There is no option three. Unable to go back to whom he once was and unready to die, Eijirou joins the captain and becomes the newest member of the legendary ghost ship The Flying Dutchman.
