Summary
Jinx was under Silco's control, his grip on her mind turning her into a mindless killer. The little control she had left went towards keeping Ekko safe from death.
Seven years ago, after Vi left and Silco approached her, she was filled with despair, feeling betrayed by her sister. She threw herself into the arms of her father's killer. Silco injected her with something that knocked her out. She woke up on the floor of a cell, alone and cold, praying her sister would come and save her.
As the years passed, she would be injected unwillingly with a shimmer that took over her body, putting her into a psychotic trance, where all thoughts and feelings she had turned to dust, her mind an empty shell. After awhile of fighting it she slowly gave up, It wasn't just her anymore. She had her little girl to think about too, and she knew without a doubt that they would hurt Isha just to punish her.

Summary
When Vi and him talked about the little huddled ball of blue currently sitting with her knees to her chest on his couch, Vi had been so sure the child wasn’t biologically related to Jinx. Apparently, there’s this group of people called ‘Jinxers’ running around dying their hair blue and rallying themselves behind Jinx, even though she’s never indulged them, or even spoken with any of them as far as Vi and him know.
Ekko isn’t convinced.
