Summary
Anabasis
1) an ascent, a military advance
2) (archaic) to take leave of hell(This is my first fic and very much a WIP. I may come back and edit things after posting them, chapters are probably not going to be consistent lengths, and I do not have a beta reader)

Summary
Ratthi shifts a little closer. Gurathin doesn’t move away from him, at least. “Look,” he says. “I mean…”
And then he can’t think of anything to say for at least three seconds too long.
And then he panics a little.
“Look, worst case scenario, we’ll just get married,” he says.
Ratthi proposes to Gurathin the first day they meet. Three kidnappings, two rogue SecUnits, and several years' worth of bad running jokes later, they finally decide whether or not it was serious.
(It was, of course. It always was. Especially when it wasn't.)

Summary
The pings were all from Overse’s interface and routed from a transit ring called Trans-All, the kind of ping that was just are you in range – are you in range – are you in range. It was a call for help and it fucking terrified me, because I was answering it way, way too late.

Ratthi goes missing. Pin-Lee isn't used to losing. Murderbot isn't used to having anything to lose.

Summary
"ART loved its crew. The joy and the love and perfect clarity with what it was supposed to be, what it was supposed to do. ART couldn’t understand how someone could dislike their function - how I could. Once, I had a similar clarity of understanding with my function, then I hacked my governor module and left the company for good, and I had lost it all. It was better, now, in a lot of ways. I had my humans, and ART, and our crew. But in some ways, things were worse.
I still wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do, ever. I had made one good decision, to stay with ART, a few years ago, and I had been just making the same decision over and over again. It felt kind of like cheating."A 20-some year fic in which Murderbot comes to terms with what it means to have a home (or two), a found family (or several), and just what mutual administrative assistance can entail.

Summary
I guess the self-loathing delayed my client protection instincts by a quarter second or so (yeah, definitely no problems with making your security device able to get so mad at itself that it forgets to do its job) because I didn't manage to instinctively tackle Three before it tackled me.
Then the roof caved in.

Summary
This is not the first time Leonide has been guided to the Argument Lounge. Since her first arrival I have had drones marked on her position at all times, though this will be the first time we are in the same room together.
Oh. Perhaps this is why Perihelion and SecUnit M.1.0 told me Leonide’s destination. With a non-functioning governor module, I could leave the room without telling anyone why or where I am going.
Still, I do not leave.
