Summary
Max was beyond bored. The team had flown him out to some arena in Angers for some cross-promotion for a figure skater they sponsor. Max didn't know the guy, and all the people he talked to just told him to be quiet during performances. The audience was mostly silent, a stark contrast to the roar of a formula one circuit.
The skater finished his performance, and the crowd gave a round of applause. Max could see some faces, and he wouldn't describe them as necessarily excited, but he could feel in the air that this would soon change.
"Please tell me what we're doing here?" Max took the chance to finally figure out why the media team had dragged him away from his precious sim races.
"You'll see," An intern muttered with a grin.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mea-"
"Please give a warm welcome..." The announcer's voice blared over the now silent crowd, interrupting Max, "... to the Monegasque Magician, Charles Leclerc!"
