What he gets is an attack on their entourage, being taken by one of the mountain clans, and sent off as an offering to the fire-witch’s pet.
Except the pet is no monster, the witch is a girl with startlingly familiar eyes, and Daeron finds himself faced with a dragon long thought to be dead.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Rhaenyra and Laena find themselves with a new lady-in-waiting who seems to criticize every aspect of their lives and culture. Unable to dismiss her without creating a scandal and determined not to hear another mention of the Seven-Pointed Star book, they have to get creative.

“There she is!” she recognized Alfred Broome amongst the five men that found her. Five men armed, but too fearful to attack “Surrender now, and King Aegon will grant you a good match in his endless wisdom and mercy!”
Baela smirked, Hūrlilio bent down just a little, but her red eyes were set on the five men. The shaking of their swords gave her time to secure herself on the saddle.
“Tell Prince Aegon” she marked those words with ease and mockery,”son of the the Cunt Queen and my craven of an uncle, that if he surrenders, The Queen shall grant him a quick death”
Then Alfred Broome laughed and the four men followed suit, further angering Baela.
“Your Whore of Queen is dead! Burnt and eaten by Sunfyre the Glorious!”
“In that case” Baela swallowed hard “there is no need for you to tell anything to the Usurper. Dracarys”
Hūrlilio did not waste a second, spitting fire to the men. Their swords and armour melted into their skins, the fire surrounded them and the scent of burnt flesh filled the air along their screams. Flapping her wings, they both ascended to the sky, up above the castle, and in the sky they were met by the Usurper and his chicken.
