Summary
It reshapes itself after its chosen prey, only to do so once more the next time it hungers. As short-lived as some of its roles may be, carrying them out is just as vital as the hunting process itself. Thus, it knows to consume its prey in its entirety until there is no difference between the two. Now, having lived through many feeding cycles, it also knows that something stays. As true as it is that one cannot remain unchanged in order to survive, much like a river must alter the very earth over which it flows, some course alterations are also not conducive to that goal. Such are the issues posed by its rationality when its next prey attempts to hunt itself: a human who begs to be eaten.
