“A… date?” Touya asks, her eyes wide, and Akito’s lips curve into a grin.
“Yup,” he says easily. He leans against the brick wall of Street SEKAI beside her, posture loose and relaxed. His forehead is still glistening with beads of sweat; Vivid BAD SQUAD had been practicing some choreography for a new cover, before unanimously deciding on a short break. “On Christmas Eve. Thought it might be nice, y’know?”
Touya blinks once at him in response. Twice. Then one more time, for good measure.
“I didn’t realise Christmas was already that close,” she says, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.
Akito asks Touya out on a Christmas Eve date, and she's excited for it—until it dawns on her that she has no idea what to get for him this year.

Akito doesn't hate art. Neither does he particularly like it.
Even when he was praised for his art back when he was younger, being told he had an innate ‘talent’ for it, he couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't what he truly wanted. He knows his passion lies elsewhere; something like art suits his older sister far more.
And yet, at times like these, the urge to capture the moment and immortalise it for eternity with pen and paper is nigh on impossible to resist.

It’s around eleven in the evening, and Touya is worried out of his mind.
Normally, Akito would respond immediately to his messages, or at most, ten minutes after he sent the message. The ginger was always in close vicinity to his phone, so this was no surprise to anyone.
And yet, it’s been four hours since Touya first messaged him, and no reply has come.
