Summary
Buck again! Buck who apparently just came out as bisexual and is dating Eddie’s new friend Tommy. Marisol had stayed over with Chris while Tommy took Eddie to Vegas for a fight. (“Sorry, he only has two tickets. I’ll bring you and Chris Perez t-shirts though!”) But neither Buck nor Tommy has been around lately, which Marisol completely understands. When your relationship is brand new, it’s easy to disappear into your own little world. She and Eddie had done the same thing.
Well, Buck had been there.
Or:
Five years before meeting Eddie, Marisol matched with “Firehose.” Buck and Eddie are both incredibly normal about this.

Summary
The cashier shakes her head. “Do you maybe have another card?”
Eddie pretends to rifle through his wallet for another card when he knows very well anything else he taps on the reader will also throw back a big, red “Declined.”
Then Buck’s there. Of course he is. Sliding his own wallet from his back pocket and tapping his debit card at the kiosk.
An announcement blares over the intercom. “The loser in lane 4 is getting bailed out by his best friend again.” Or at least that’s what it feels like to Eddie, who feels the humiliation creep up his spine and bloom across his cheeks.
Does he even have the right to call Buck his best friend anymore?
()
Written for the Weewoo Kink Meme prompt:
When Eddie moves back, he can't afford both his mortgage and rent, so he and Buck come up with an arrangement where Buck pays the rent in exchange for sex. I'm fine with leaning into the dubcon, but I'd prefer it if Eddie is at least a little bit into it/Buck.

It’s to the point that Buck starts a list in his Notes app called “Men Eddie Thinks Are Hot.”
Paul Newman. Jude Law. That one guy doing cable curls at the gym.
So… why not Buck?

Summary
Buck comes into the kitchen fresh off a run, his gray t-shirt soaked with sweat at the neckline, under his armpits, the fabric sticking to the small of his back. Eddie is sat at the table going through the mail and he watches as Buck crosses the room, his long legs in short shorts, the tattoos on his thighs and shins shifting. He gets to the sink, not even bothering to find a glass, ducking his head to stick his mouth under the faucet and the brim of his snapback bumps awkwardly against it. He halfway straightens, swiveling the cap round on his head and bends back down to take a drink.
He looks like a teenage boy, some jock back from practice, gripping the edge of the sink, water dripping down his chin as his mouth works under the stream, his throat bobbing, unaware of Eddie staring. His thirst suitably quenched, Buck stands, turning as he smears the back of a hand over his mouth, droplets splattering on his chest, and Eddie is struck dumb by the sight of him.

Summary
“Attaboy.” Bobby says when Buck’s muscles finally relax and he’s more slumped against Bobby’s thigh than anything else.
Heat spreads through Buck’s chest, sparkling all the way down to his toes, just like it always does when Bobby praises him. It feels good from everyone else too, but when it’s just the two of them– when they’re like this— it’s all heightened.
“Discipline.” Bobby had said after the rooftop. “That’s what you’re missing. You’re a good firefighter, and I believe you’re a good person. You just need some help regulating.”
OR
Buck needs a firm hand. Bobby's willing to use some unconventional methods to make sure the kid doesn't wash out.

Summary
The crowd is denser than when they first got here, the music is loud, and Eddie feels old. Well, not old, exactly, but a little out of his element.
When the hell did that happen?
To be fair, it’s been a couple years since he’s been out like this. Not that he’s ever really been out like this before—with the sole intention to get laid. But he can't see himself getting on the apps like Buck and Ravi, so his only option is in person. Which brings them here. Tonight.
Maybe he should have gotten them a round of shots, too, just to take the edge off a bit.
A night out doesn't go to plan, leaving Eddie frustrated but not understanding why.

Summary
“Maddie and I are doing dinner with the Lees,” Chimney says. “They’re gonna spoil the kids, and then we have to get Jee to sleep somehow.”
Eddie is glaring at the pricing page when the thought hits. “Is Buck going with you?”
Chimney freezes. “Buck. Right, Buck.”
“You forgot your own brother-in-law?” Hen mocks. “That's really the Christmas spirit, Chim.”
“They won't care if he comes. I'll just text Maddie, and we'll get that sorted.”
“No,” Eddie says, and not only because he's looking at a good deal on a flight and two hotel rooms. “I'll invite him to come with us.”
Or: Eddie brings Buck home for the holidays. He's a safe harbor amongst Diaz family drama.
