    Trunks tends to take life for granted. He has all the money he could want, close friends, and his hands in Capsule Corp's pockets. His future counterpart has very little, and can't help but watch from afar as another version of himself lives a happy, charmed life. Shaken by a recent loss, Future Trunks shows up one day to even the scales, determined to take the one thing that will cause Trunks the most happiness in his life. Unbeknownst to Trunks, he and Goten are fated to one day realize their feelings for each other and live happily ever after, unless a certain time traveler can manage to steal Goten right out from under his nose. Trunks, having learned of the plan immediately, doesn't have many choices. His only option is to somehow save a relationship he didn't even know he wanted before his future self steals his soulmate away forever.
