Summary
Finally, Liyue looks stable after Rex Lapis's death, but that stability is built atop myriad fragile compromises. As Yuheng, Keqing is imminently aware of this fact. Unfortunately, the Yuheng and the Tianquan don't see eye to eye on what the best path forward for Liyue is, and the tension comes to the head over an enigmatic monument with a budget that hides too many mysteries and not enough answers.

In the aftermath of Rex Lapis's departure, Keqing rushes to strengthen Liyue's infrastructure and trade routes. Her first project takes her on a survey trip to a site north of Qingce Village. Despite Keqing's protests and doubts, Ganyu comes along to help in lieu of her usual entourage of assistants. The two of them couldn't be more different, but a week together has its way of unearthing secrets and words they never thought they would say to anyone, let alone to each other.
