Summary
What if Chimney didn't just punch Buck? What if he was so blinded by his own rage and desperate need to find Maddie that he injures Buck far deeper than a single punch? When Eddie finds his best friend unconscious and barely breathing on his own kitchen floor, it starts a tidal wave that no one saw coming. With Buck fighting for his life, the 118 is divided on if Chimney actually did this to Buck or if Buck was just lying to get back at Chimney for taking Maddie from him. Regardless, Chmney is AWOL with a warrant out for his arrest. And he's on the run with Jee-Yun.
Eddie is doing everything he can to keep Buck alive and back on the road to recovery. And surprisingly he has some help from someone he least expected, Tommy Kinard, who has become a lifesaver to both Buck and Eddie. But when Chimney is arrested and Jee-Yun is placed in Buck's custody, can Tommy and Eddie manage to keep Buck from drowning? Or will Eddie finally lose his best friend? And will Tommy lose the man that he quickly fell in love with? And just how long will it take for Buck to realize that he was madly in love with Tommy? One thing is for certain, this new family was in for some serious turbulence.

Summary
Buck once read that Nicolas Copernicus said that:
"The best and wisest men will learn from the mistakes of the past, while the rest are doomed to repeat them."
If anyone asked Buck he would say that this is just a bunch of shit, that this is just sentimental bullshit and that Copernicus has never even said anything remotely like that, in fact, Buck is pretty sure that "inspiring" phrase came out of any ABC series.
But if we're talking about inspirational phrases, Buck really likes one that says:
"You can't change your past, but you can ruin your future."
Unfortunately for Buck, and ironies aside, the past always catches up with you, and when you don't learn from him, he fucks with you.
(Yes, I changed the title of the story, but just because it was horrible, not that this one is much better.)

Summary
News anchors are stationed nearby, blue fire rages over buildings, but the only ash in the air is from the thousands of flyers that drift from city rooftops to the ground.
On top of a bus stands Midoriya Izuku. His unremarkable green hair seems wild in the harsh light of Dabi’s flames. He’s flanked on either side by Shinsou Hitoshi and Yaoyorozu Momo, and in formation around them is the League of Villains.
People run screaming from the display, and news anchors know better than to get too close to the action when the League of Villains is involved– they’ve been known to injure and even kill bystanders on a whim.
The linchpin of the new group seems to be Midoriya Izuku, and as he laughs in an unhinged way and raves about the injustice of hero society, nobody is interested in what he’s saying so much as the fact that he is saying it. He’s gone off the deep end.
The pamphlets that litter the ground and begin to circulate online (even as the hero commission tries to censor them) read with just one line of text in red writing against a black background:
"Watch Your Heroes Fall"Izuku always wanted to be a hero, until he saw what being a hero meant. So he found a better way to help others.
