Summary
In one world, Telemachus turns from Antinous’s stilled fist to see a goddess. In this one, a bloodied spirit greets him instead, grin twisted. His faded toga is ripped, his skin underneath covered in grisly blunt-force wounds. His beard is wild, and his eyes even more so.
“What’s- What’s happening?” Telemachus stammers, stumbling backwards.
“Is your plan to just stand around?” the spirit asks nonchalantly. He studies Antinous’s figure, a dark light in his eyes. “I suggest you fight back, son.”

Summary
You look so sad, Clarke had not been the first of the sirens to find him clinging steadfast to the ruinous safety of his outcropping, though she was the first to truly speak- the first to abandon the luring singsong as she peeped up at him from just above the wavebreak, dark eyes gleaming curiously in the lingering darkness of the rapidly setting sun. Why do you cry? Come to me, I will make it better.
He did not dare give up his unflinching hold upon the crumbling old stone, despite the terrible ache and weakness building within his scrawny figure, but he did lick his lips and attempt to speak to the one meant to lure him to his death and feast upon his bones.
They killed my family, he tells her and would likely cry if he had any water left in his being, my entire village. They put me in chains to sell me, but now you have come to kill me because our ship has wrecked.
