All I hear is static, I’m afraid. I... I’m sorry.” He shuddered and wished it was due to the thumb caressing him. “I am so sorry. I don’t know what is wrong with me.”
This was the part where Tenna tossed up his hands, admitted defeat, and left. Who would want to bother with a lost cause? No words existed to remedy Mettaton.
But Tenna didn’t leave.
He stayed.
And he also said—
“Would it help if I SHOWED YOU?”
Mettaton struggles with his confidence and self-image in the Dark World. Thankfully, Tenna is more than willing to show him how wonderful he truly is.

Beside him on the counter were two stockings. Dark, sheer fabric with a visible back seam. Left very little to the imagination. Paired with his knee-high boots and black shorts in lieu of pants... ho boy, that planted plenty of thoughts in Tenna’s mind. And now he was responsible for slipping them onto Mettaton’s legs—those gorgeous and devious legs—while keeping his cool. Oh, and wrap it up before they took to the stage.
Yeah. Walk in the park. What could possibly go wrong?
The clock is ticking and Mettaton still isn’t ready for their debut show together. Good thing Tenna offers to help in more ways than one.
