Now you have to survive Germany, maintain the cover, and absolutely not let the fake marriage become more complicated than it already is.
So somewhere between fabricated marriage certificates, behavioral profiling, and a mission that insists appearances are everything, the line between pretending and performing starts looking alarmingly thin.

Nursing a half-empty glass of whiskey in his hands, he sits alone at the bar. Leather jacket, one that's certainly seen better days judging by the scuff marks against the fabric. Black combat pants, a holster across his waist - a cop? No, he's not in uniform. Dark blonde hair ruffled to one side, streaks of gray peppering his beard. Blue eyes, piercing, searching. Amidst the chatter and music, you find yourself entranced, unable to tear your gaze away.
"Aren't I too old for you?"
You've never met this man before in your life, but everything about him feels right.
