This fic is not finished, and I don't know when I will get a chance to finish it. No, I'm not scrapping it, but depression is a bitch, and I don't have the energy or motivation to work on this like I'd like to. Sorry!Reader insert into Season 2 Episode 20, What Is and What Should Never Be. The Reader and Dean get caught by a Djinn/genie. Sam rushes to their aid, saving the day. Seeing the Reader on the brink of dying, he can't hold his feelings back any more and tells her when she wakes up that he loves her. They end up together in love and bliss. Nothing could go wrong. Right?

Summary
Katara and Zuko's mission on board The Southern Raiders goes badly wrong, and they are captured and imprisoned in the unforgiving hull of the ship.
Katara now finds herself locked in a small room with a boy that she refuses to trust, and nine years worth of trauma and guilt swimming in her mind. She is resolute in her hostility towards Zuko, but as the horrors of their captivity unfold, an undeniable bond is formed in the quiet moments between their captor's torments.
When they find themselves safely back with their friends on Ember Island, they are both sporting deep scars – old and new, seen and unseen. Katara struggles to reconcile all the pieces of herself and figure out who she truly is. And Zuko continues to battle with his past guilt, and the new guilt that arises from his growing feelings towards Katara.
As their bond deepens – it may be the lifeline they both so desperately need to pull them from the dark waters of their past.

Summary
The walls of Ba Sing Se aren’t half as high as those around a girl’s heart.
Katara never thought she’d lie to her friends or sneak around with a boy she hates. But then, she didn’t expect Zuko to come to this city of secrets and do what he does best: turn her life upside down.
Even if she wanted their affair to become something real, it’s out of the question. There’s a war waiting for them, and they can’t stay sheltered within these rings forever, enemies playing the part of lovers. He may care for her—may even need her—but not enough to change.
Besides, catching is what Zuko is good at. Keeping, not so much.
