Summary
Magical backlash of Voldemort's attack transfers Harry across time to the night Tom is left at the steps of the Wool's Orphanage. They look so alike, their names sounding like they could be sons from the same family, so when the matron finds them, the logical conclusion is that they are twins.
Harry and Tom grew up inseparable and possessive. They share everything. They have their secret language to speak in while no one is listening. Harry is empathic with fierce urge to protect Tom.
