His dedication to a regular schedule is admirable, but sometimes I wonder if I should have kept my trap shut instead." The construct shrugged, "Could be worse. I dreamed I was slower. It looked pretty gruesome, but you usually survived."
Robert raised an eyebrow, "Usually?"

He shook his head, “No. I mean, like you know who’s there in your life, friends, family, all of that. But for some reason, it still feels like someone’s missing. Like you can see the space where a person used to be, or I guess where they’re supposed to be. But no matter how hard you think, you can’t remember who’s missing. But you know there’s a space for them, if only they would show their face.” She sighed, unholstering her yoyo and peering into it, “I- I guess I have feelings sort of like that.”

Summary
The first Mecha Man to grace L.A. was titled Mecha Man Prime, being the first in the legacy of non-powered humans to make a difference as a hero. The second Mecha Man named himself Astral and made his debut in L.A. as the leader of a group of heroes.
Robert was supposed to be the third Mecha Man. His father would have wanted that for him, but disappointing his father isn't new to him anyway.
In Robert's defense, he had a very valid crash out after his dad was murdered a decade ago. In his opinion, this leads to his very reasonable agenda of hunting down the man who murdered him. It sucks, because it's his target is beloved by the entire damn State.
L.A.'s third Mecha Man, Elliot Connors.

Adrien moved his hands to let Plagg in, confused and scared all at once. “Tikki? Why aren’t you with Ladybug? What happened?”
Watery green eyes looked past the sobbing kwami, only to lock onto the silver studs he donned the one and only time he became Mister Bug. The tears that built fell freely, and the color drained from his face at the implication. Both Marinette and Ladybug needed him and now he was being forced to choose between the two.
“Tikki, please…” he whimpered.
No sooner than the words left his mouth, his phone buzzed in his pocket in warning before the shrill shrieking of the akuma alarm blared in their ears. To Adrien, it was as deafening as the sound of his heart breaking.
Considering Tikki’s presence, it could only mean one thing.
