Summary
Ciel is bored and disobedient. Sebastian is trying his hardest to get the boy to realise he's *very interested* in him. But all Ciel realises is that some games can't be so easily won and that his demon is getting out of hand. With tensions high and games afoot Ciel is held on a high wire of uncertainty; torn between what he needs his demon to be and what his demon is by nature.

This was always how such arrangements went: if Sebastian was to utilize his charms in order to wheedle information from a particular mark, Ciel was there, somewhere in the room, to witness it.

Summary
Ciel's arms crossed almost protectively over his chest as he turned his face, trying to hide behind his own hair.
"I ... I don't ... I mean I didn't ... why did you do that!"
The demon arched an eyebrow. "Do what, precisely?"
Ciel's small teeth worried his bottom lip for a moment before he finally forced the words past his mortification. "Let me watch."
Sebastian only smirked evilly down at his human. "Why did you watch?" he countered.

Summary
Ciel had learned nothing escaped Sebastian's attention. Absolutely nothing. From each of his breaths, each beat of his mortal heart, to the slightest movement of his body. It was impossible for him to miss Ciel's fingers curling into his palm and his short intake of breath behind the coldness of his gaze. And for a long time, everything had always been a question of appearance between them: the game they played in broad daylight, willfully ignoring that Ciel had been just a child wearing an adult's costume who had shoulders strong enough to withstand everything the world had done to him. Not showing weakness in front of others, only giving in front of Sebastian when the lights were out - pretending if he couldn't see his surroundings, perhaps Sebastian could also pretend he wasn't able to perceive the fractured dams that threatened to burst and spill his blood on the floor.
And then, Germany.Or: Sebastian makes good use of their infiltration mission into a religious school to let Ciel navigate between his feelings and his positioning vis-à-vis God.
