The story, and the characters are written just seriously enough to believe that this could genuinely happen.

The ripples have far reaching consequences for many throughout the Seven Kingdoms, but at its heart, this is a story of two people, their marriage, their family, and the North.

A wonderfully written story that somehow manages to balance all the main POV's and make each feel like a main character in their own right. The author brilliantly captures the scale and often harsh brutality of George's world. There are many exciting twists and turns and some really beautiful reunions the had me tearing up at 3am in bed lol.
If there is one teeny tiny complaint it would be that I'd have preferred a more concrete ending for the White Walkers, but I also recognise that's not the main point of this fic and in any case what we got was still great in its own right.
Overall, a brilliant fic for any ASOIAF fans looking for Stark content.

A wonderfully written, wholesome short story for one of my favourite rare(ish)-pairs, Harry/Gabrielle. It has great pacing, good character development and a lot of heart. What's not to like?
