Draco had been in prison for two years and on probation for six months. Well-meaning, but infuriating, Black women and one Impossible Boy never leave him alone. The Ministry of Magic’s Bureaucratic Vermin made it abundantly clear he wasn’t allowed to leave this travesty of a landmass. Fine. Magical Society could fuck right off. Which had been suiting him well enough, until one night, after his shift he definitely, positively, did not see Harry Fucking Potter in the alley behind his work. Saint Potter, in his infinite annoyance, was still gossiped about even here and everyone knew the git was partying his way across Europe.
Draco couldn’t have seen him.
