Summary
Agatha Harkness and Billy Maximoff have felt alone for most of their lives. Now that they've stepped out into a bright new dawn together can they deal with a pair of pasts that threaten to consume them?
Billy has always felt guilty about the accident. No one meant to make him feel that way but its hard to ignore everyone mourning who you used to be when you're a telepath. Now he has the answers he wanted but why must someone else always pay the price?
Agatha is finally free. Sure she had to die for it and maybe she's being a bit of a softie for this kid, but he does come with a few perks. Hell, she already tricked him into making one of her cons a reality. Given a little a bit of training, what scheme couldn't they pull off?

The silence that followed was not the sharp, dreaded kind. It was patient. A quiet that waited. Nick shifted on the couch beside him, the worn cushions sighing beneath his weight. His face softened, one eyebrow quirking gently upward. “Yeah?” he murmured, voice tinged with both curiosity and caution. “What would that be?”
Charlie inhaled—deep and shaky, the way one might before diving headfirst into freezing water—and then said it.
“We could… be friends with benefits?”
