Lucifer swallowed. He might as well jump into it. “Can I touch your ears?”
Alastor turned to actually look at him. His neck made an unsettling crack as he tilted his head. “Why?”
“Because, well, they’re cute.”

Summary
Vox barely listened as Carmine talked; he was looking at Alastor. He wasn’t alone in that; half the Overlords around the table were focusing on Carmine and the other half were staring at the deer. They were all thinking about it, Vox knew:
The Radio Demon is sleeping with the Devil.
The news had been everywhere the last two weeks. Every TV-channel, news-site, even the out-of-date newspapers had covered the story. It was discussed on every platform in Hell. Alastor himself was seemingly completely engrossed in Carmine’s presentation. In fact, he was way more interested than Vox had seen him be at a meeting before; the Radio Demon asked questions, came with suggestions, and was acting like there was nothing he wanted more than to listen to her. But he had to notice. Had to feel the stares, the questions hanging in the air.
The first Overlord Meeting after Alastor’s relationship with the King is revealed.

“Short king, do ya know yer trending?”
Lucifer looked up at Angel Dust. “What?”
“I’ll take that as a ‘no’.” Angel swiped at his phone. “Yer trending, you and Smiles. It’s all over the news.”
“All over-” Lucifer’s confusion was quickly morphing into dread. “Angel, what are you talking about?”
Angel handed him the phone, and Lucifer was greeted by a stream of words and images. There were comments that seemed be either outrage or disbelief. There were links to articles with titles like Radio Demon Crawls Into The Royal Bed, and pictures of himself and Alastor, talking to each other, holding hands, curled up in bed together- “What the fuck!?”
“Yeah,” Angel said. “So, yer out of the closet now?”
When pictures revealing Lucifer and Alastor’s relationship are released to the public, it causes a media storm.
