    Kanade's eyes widen as she meets the purple-haired's face. Her bangs are loose and messy, unlike their usual neatly combed state, especially when she was at school which the girl has just arrived home from. Those bangs cast a shadow over Mafuyu's eyes, making them appear duller and dark. But her eyes are also half-lid. There are bags under them and slight reminisces of tears on the edges. Her eyebrows are furrowed in pain.

    Kanade's seen this expression before, back to when she first met Mafuyu. The look of wanting to disappear.
