She doesn’t think she knows exactly what to say. In her mind is just filled with the thought of how she’s not supposed to be here and that she should leave. Leave. That’s right. That’s the right thing to do.
“You know what, I should leave. Yeah,” her nervous laugh continues, “I should leave and let you continue to do whatever you’re doing. I’m sorry to bother you.”
Just as she’s about to take her leave, Sylus brings her closer with the use of his Evol and pins her to the bed by the wrists. He scowls at her. “May I know why you’re here? I thought I made it clear that I wasn’t receiving visitors, sweetie. Yet you still came to see me?”
“I—” she falters, she really doesn’t know what to say.
Sylus leans in, his lips brushing against her ear. “I have no intention of letting you go now.”
