For a base, let's just say Daniel's and Johnny had feelings for each other back in 1984. Johnny had a friendship with Miyagi that Daniel was unaware of. Daniel's divorced, is completely on amicable terms with Amanda to the point of them just being best friends, and Johnny confronts Samantha at the dealership for wrecking his car. -

Maya Rider is severely traumatized by the events of Point Blanc, Eagle Stroke and SCORPIA. Scorpia is no longer a threat, and she and Alex have gone back to living normal lives. The problem that bothers her is seeing Alex act like nothing happened as he looks forward to college. However, the day Alex leaves for America to study abroad in Stanford is the day he disappears.
Unwilling to trust MI6 even though Mrs. Jones is the new head, Maya will do whatever it is necessary to find her brother again.
