“Why the fuck is she calling?” Powder says, her tone laced in shock.
“I got no fucking clue,” Vi says, her voice tired.
“Are you gonna answer it or what??” Powder aggressively gestures to the phone. Vi sighs and answers the call.
“Hey, Mrs. K,” Vi says, trying not to let the pain and exhaustion seep into her voice.
“Violet! Oh how wonderful it is to speak to you again, darling,” The older woman says. “I’m sure you’ve heard? About Caitlyn?” Cassandra asks.
A lump forms in Vi’s throat. She feels like she’s going to throw up. That nausea from when she saw the pictures comes bubbling up again. Vi pushes it down.
“Yeah…” She manages out, “Yeah, I have,” her eyes start prickling with tears but she blinks them away.
“Listen Vi… there’s no easy way to say this… but I need you to come to Piltover,”---
Caitlyn is in an engagement with Maddie. When Vi- Caitlyn's ex girlfriend- learns of the engagement she gets far more depressed than she was.
