Summary
"Which means you," Dr. Choi turns to the other woman, "are my two o'clock appointment. Ryu Rumi?"
"Yes," she says, standing up and extending her hand for a handshake. She has a diplomatic smile on her face, charming and practiced to perfection. Mira can hardly imagine what it's like to be on the receiving end of it.
Dr. Choi, however, is apparently immune. She puts one hand on her waist and looks up at Rumi with a glare. She holds Rumi's client file up with her other.
"Rumi-nim, respectfully, this is the worst intake form I've ever seen in my life. "
Mira holds back a snicker.

Summary
Mira and Zoey confront Celine on her lies. Mira's anger is explosive, but Zoey's is quiet. Quiet enough for her to notice that Celine is just as rattled by the events of the Idol Awards as they are. That looking at Celine is uncomfortably like looking in a mirror.

Summary
"Heavy, ugly, all-consuming sobs overwhelm her instantly, leaving her shaking with effort. Any semblance of control vanishes, and she fights the urge to desperately crawl after it. Reminds herself there’s no need. Nothing more to lose.
It’s hard to put into words what’s behind the tears. Harder to say what isn’t. It’s everything. A boiling point for a lifetime of shame, of spending night after night terrified of waking up like this, overrun by evidence of her otherness.
In the calm and quiet of the morning, without the adrenaline and anguish turning her vision red, it’s as if she’s seeing them for the first time. Worse, in a way, because now she’s distinctly aware of every implication, even in victory. Freedom from her body doesn’t exist. Will never exist. They might accept her, might embrace her, but they’ll always look at her and know she’s different. Know she’s wrong.
Even if she wants to, she can never go back."
or, Rumi wakes up after the battle has ended and finds a more daunting one waiting for her: explaining herself to her girls.
