Summary
Bilbo Baggins has been de-aged, rather against his will, to go back and save the trees apparently. Sent back to do his adventures all over again, just this time with more scars and new knowledge, and also make sure the plants of the world don't die. In exchange he has the chance to save his friends and change the tragic path of history. In being sent back his life force was bound to Thorin's in such a way that if he dies that Bilbo will go on living as he would have, but that Bilbo can live out the long years of a dwarf instead of a hobbit as long as Thorin is alive. So yeah, now Bilbo has to save the world, his family, and also a bunch of trees. And this time killing the dragon is definitely his problem.

Summary
Sherlock Holmes was believed by most to have died by jumping to his death. A few people, Mycroft Holmes included believed he died in somewhere in Serbia, tortured to death, though his body was never found. Sherlock Holmes himself doesn't believe either of the above, obviously.
After being extensively tortured in Serbia, he suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him with amnesia, and deafness. But the doctors say that the deafness is psychological in nature. It doesn't matter much to him. All he knows is that his name is William, and that he was once (and it seems he always will be) in love with a man by the name of John Watson.
John has suffered much in the last eight years. Losing his best friend to suicide, marrying and then later being divorced by his wife, battling for joint custody of his child, and generally trying to forge ahead and figure out what the seemingly bleak future holds in store for him. But what he could never expect is Sherlock's sudden return. Nor the man's conviction that once upon a time they were madly in love.
Edit11/26/25 I need to reread this whole work, but rest assured that this is not abandoned. If I had to guess, it will be about a month or two.

Summary
A moody little drabble that has both Mycroft and Sherlock in it. It was never finished but the context is John was kidnapped and Sherlock is finding Mycroft for help. If y'all like this and want more I'll continue it. It is all implications because I had to write it in an actual notebook the first time around, and i don't trust irl people with my fanfic notes.

Summary
They always thought they were destined for each other since that magical chance first meeting. A meeting between a hardcore veteran turned artist with long hair and an edgy style, and a high powered business man with his button ups and gelled hair who was moving up rapidly in the world. But several months ago Hux's temper got the better of him, and he made the worst mistake of his life. Ben, his steady boyfriend of three years packed his bags and left without a word.
But what if there was a chance for Hux to make it back up to Ben, the love of his life? What if taking that chance meant risking his own life? Would he still take that chance? Is Ben Solo really worth that much?
And maybe Ben is the only one who can protect Hux, even if he thinks he doesn't need protecting by a big man with a gun. Together they can do anything. Apart? They might not survive alone.

Summary
"The gwelaith -- an ancient law of Gondor. What is it in the common tongue?"
"Binding with rope?" Estel translates doubtfully -- his best guess, though it doesn't make much sense.
"Joining as two ropes, like a braid," Elrond corrects. "Joining in a way that strengthens. That was its purpose -- to tie the house of the king to the house of his steward, and strengthen both offices by the connection."
It is an ancient law, that the king of Gondor must marry a member of the steward's house. If Aragorn is lucky, maybe it will turn out to be so ancient that everyone's forgotten about it...

Summary
Bilbo originally asked to meet with Balin to discuss what he could do to help restore Erebor. He had no idea Balin would turn it around and talk about dwarven courting customs.

Summary
When they reach their majority, every hobbit is encouraged to carve or forge a spoon that would be their Love Spoon. It’s a very sacred process as no talking can be done during the crafting of the spoon. All of their energy must be concentrated on pouring their hopes and dreams for the future into their spoon. Reflecting especially on what type of spouse would compliment them most, what type of marriage they hope to have, and what vows they would make to honor and cherish them. The symbols etched into their spoon would showcase all of this so that way when their future spouse used it for the first time, they knew exactly what they were getting out of this marriage. And that’s it. Once someone has taken a bite from a dish prepared by the spoon’s owner, they are married in the eyes of the Shire. The act is reciprocated, and the lucky couple move in together in marital bliss.
Bilbo agonized over his spoon. A spoon no one ever seemed to want, and he had accepted his fate at no one ever eating from. Then a company of dwarves invaded his dining room, and their leader took a bite...

Summary
In the wake of losing Fíli, Kíli and Thorin in the Battle of the Five Armies, those they left behind are grieving. Some more than others, including Ori, who carries not only his sadness, but more than one secret.
Dáin's right to rule is assured, though some believe binding a member of the Company to his son will help ease the transition for smoother relations amidst the rebuilding of Erebor. Ori has many reasons to ignore this, but just as many to offer himself up as the marriage candidate Thorin Stonehelm will wed.
What follows is the rest of his life and beyond, as he handles the weight of love and loss.

Summary
Had Bilbo not had the hearing of a hobbit, he would have missed it. The hissed ‘I heard King Thorin is going to make the halfling his Consort’ had surprised him. While Thorin was not subtle with his- his affections for Bilbo, the idea of Bilbo becoming Consort Under the Mountain was absurd. A hobbit, holding a place in the court of the lonely mountain? Bilbo may not know everything about dwarves, but he knew enough to know that was ridiculous.
