Something was off about the new recruit.
She was nothing but kind to the recruits around her, and most of them actually got very well acquainted with the teen early on. It was rare to see such a ray of sunshine in their line of work, especially with how bloody some of their training and missions could be. Even with her kindness, though, she seemed to hold strong. It was not lost to him that the Geo vision on her hip exemplified the nature of her will, but he was sure there was more to the story than that.
Perhaps, if they prayed hard enough, the Lords would have enough mercy on her soul to leave her intact by the time they were done with her.
Not many would admit it, but they also prayed for any enemy who dared stand in their wake.
