Summary
How to make Sammy eat:
1: Get the tasteless low calorie stuff (He won’t eat it otherwise, no matter how much you guilt him)
2: If you want to get some kind of quick calories in him, get him a coffee with chocolate in it, he can’t turn it down for some reason
3: Guilt him if you have to, but don’t put pressure on it. (Sam still gets weird about money, if you buy something he likes but you don’t, he sees it as wasted cash not to eat it)
4: Acting full only works sometimes, you use it too often and he catches on (he’s even crankier when he hasn’t eaten, so, proceed with caution)
5: Protein bars are easier to give him, but they’re a last resort. Proper food is better.

Summary
Sam’s got his head bashed in, bleeding and confused. Dean’s stuck halfway in Cold Oaks, trying to keep himself present. And they have a long, half-day hike ahead of them in the Arizona heat. No service, no car, and no backup.
Dean swallows bile and practically hauls Sam to his feet, trying to ignore the way the kid keeps losing his balance and trying to place his feet as he practically puts all his weight on Dean.
He’s not heavy. He’s Sam. And Dean will carry his weight, whether he’s a feverish little five-year-old with curly hair and big eyes, or a six-foot muscular hunter.
OR
sam’s freshly alive, dean is freshly doomed, and they’re both trying to deal with that knowledge. sprinkle in a monster hunt and a lot of angst, whump, and protectiveness, snd you have yourself another free episode of supernatural

Summary
It doesn’t matter how big or how clever he gets, Sam thinks. He's still just the little brother, the youngest son, the baby, there to be put down and bossed around and derided as selfish and mean and bratty and stupid and betraying the family for daring to want things. His cardinal sin: Sam has never been able to quash the desire he deserves something better.
July 1998. John Winchester has GPS trackers implanted in his sons, predictably without telling his youngest. Sam is not pleased. Dean deals with the fallout.
Three points of view (sort of). One story.
OR:
Sam does a lot of things Dean can’t fathom, but locking himself in the bathroom and attempting to operate on himself has got to be the most patently insane.Series

Summary
Deeming the conversation over, Dean stood and moved to instinctively ruffle Sam’s hair before he stopped himself. Sam caught sight of the aborted movement and frowned. “You can touch me. I’m not that traumatised.” He sounded almost offended at the implication.
“I never said you were.” Dean shrugged. “But you know you can say no if you’re not feeling like it, Sammy.”
