In 1890, Arthur Conan Doyle met Oscar Wilde and developed a writer's crush -- they talked for hours on that Golden Evening, as he called it years later.
Wilde went home and wrote a novel about a young artist who falls in love with him and paints a portrait that shows his secret vices. Doyle wrote a novel that revealed Sherlock Holmes' hedonism, and his cocaine habit.
Watson (Doyle) is so cool in this fic. And they fall in love with each other's writing <3
