The day shift would often go out for food or drinks on Friday nights. Each week, they invited Robby, and each week, he politely declined, saying he would see them at work next week.
“You think I want to spend more time with you guys?” he joked. Santos rolled her eyes.
“You gotta let loose sometime, old man, or else you’ll explode.”
What they didn’t know was that Robby was letting loose. Just in the privacy of his bedroom.
Robby took a long, warm shower, made himself a quick dinner, and then settled into bed with his fully charged laptop. He checked the time—9:45 pm. 15 minutes until br0kenb0w went live.

Buck blows a breath out of his nose, ears flicking, and Eddie pounces the moment those baby blue eyes haloed with red skirt away from him—it’s no more than a second, maybe two, but it gives Eddie the in he needs.
Eddie covers the distance between them in a blink, nails scoring claw marks in the dirt. He launches himself forward, body shoving into Buck’s, and his arms coming around the blond, hooking his claws into flesh, and listening to the startled, half-choked yelp Buck lets out as Eddie brings them to the ground. Buck’s back hits the ground, crushing Eddie’s knuckles into the earth, but he doesn’t care.
Instead, he opens his jaw wide and tries to go for the throat. It’s a dirty move—Eddie doesn’t want to paint this territory red, but if he must, he will—but Eddie must do what he needs to do to get this territory.

“Is this…” he could hear Eddie hesitate. “Is this because of Bobby?”
If Buck had the capacity to laugh, he would. For once, he wasn’t an emotional disaster because of Bobby. He had an excuse this time.
Buck shuddered, and more tears fell, coating his cheeks and Eddie’s neck.
“No,” he croaked. He squeezed his hands tighter in Eddie’s shirt, as if begging him not to leave. “It’s because of the baby.”
“Robbie?” Eddie prodded, sounding concerned. “What’s wrong with Robbie?”
“Not Robbie.”
“Then who—”
“I’m pregnant,” Buck blurted out.
Or, the one where Buck finds out he's pregnant, confides to baby Han, has a breakdown, has to watch Eddie jump off an eighty-foot bridge with no regard to his own personal safety, and definitely doesn't lose his mind about it.
