What if Neil had two older sisters. What if nepotism was actually more common in the Moriyama empire and Nathan Wesninski was determined to make his children useful to them (as well as being a piece of shit, that doesn't change). The oldest sister, Amelia Wesninski, works for Kengo. The middle sister, Elizabeth, is supposed to be her father's right hand woman, and Nathaniel to be drafted to the Ravens. But Mary runs away with Nathaniel before he can be accepted at Evermore and that ruins it for everyone. (Or does it?)

At Thanksgiving dinner, Neil gets to Andrew faster. The result isn't any better. Neil is still a martyr, and Andrew struggles like never before to insist that he feels nothing.
Because there was someone waiting for Andrew upstairs, and they got Neil instead.
